A Sunday morning oil change turned into an oily mess in my garage when I didn't notice the oil filter gasket remained on the engine. I hadn't realized that was why the oil drained out of the engine (I didn't want to look at the mess in the engine compartment) so I had it towed to A.S.A.P. to diagnose the problem. About 20 min. after the tow truck left I received a call from Ron's (the owner's) ace mechanic (I forgot his name) saying he was dropping something off and recognized my car being towed into the shop. He quickly diagnosed the problem, fixed it and replaced the oil, all at no charge to me, and I picked it up later that day!
