I recently took my 2007 Mazda CX-9 in to get the transfer case fluid changed. DIY is a bit difficult since there is no drain plug on this model year and space is tight. I scheduled an appointment on a Friday morning, took it in and they had it on the rack within 15 minutes. The service tech was very thorough in getting all of the oil out. Although the case only holds about half a quart it was pretty thick and gooey. My model year has known issues regarding the transfer case fluid since it is right next to the catalytic converter and cooks. After refilling the case the tech cleaned up any oil drips and checked tire pressure (nice!). The service manager was also very professional and we talked a bit about potential water pump replacement in the future. FYI pump failure is a known issue on this engine (3.5L V6 Ford). It's inside the engine and requires significant tear down. I used ASAP a long time ago on a different vehicle and they provided good service then and now. Pretty good shop.
